@andifluffkitten@mastodonapp.uk Carlisle the same - I think the road layout does lead to traffic from far and wide all converging on the compact central area. Not a great fan of large new roads but it looks like the nearly completed southern link bypass will help with that somewhat. They seem to be planting lots of new hedgerows, though I should think many have been lost. Progress eh 🤷🏻‍♀️
