Our 12yo gd had surgery yesterday to remove her internally fitted chemo line. It seemed to go well. She's home now, to recover gently and start putting a bit of weight back on. She's exhausted, almost transparent with big dark panda eyes. A 3-year weekly treatment plan is ahead, but hopefully the worst is behind her.
Thanks to the Mórrígan, who promised me she would bring our girl through this. And thanks to you, my friends here who have held our girl in prayer. Thank you. xxx

Sunday morning: our girl's back in hospital with an alarmingly high temperature, sickness, and diarrhea. Of course she has no immunity whatsoever after her 4 months of chemo, and the initial assumption is that this is a post-operative infection after her surgery to remove the internal line on Wednesday.
