They saw it in movies, read it in books, and decided to help build it into reality. And what they built became a vehicle for chaos and harm on a global scale. That is not a small thing to sit with.

Every hidden agreement is being exposed. Every system that was held together by silence and compliance is cracking under the weight of what it always was. That is not collapse for its own sake. That is the condition that makes something new possible. We have an opportunity, once this burns all the way down, to build equity, justice, and communal care into the solutions the world is going to need.
