The Milwaukee SDS has a safety clutch (which is good) but the mass of the core bit is so huge if you do not slowly wind up the RPMs it clutches out even when not cutting at all; even in free air, no load! So I had to slowly wind it up, then slowly gradually start cutting. On the whole, impressed with both the bit and the drill.
