An entire HD floppy would fit dozens of my early games and I used to work with a chap who got his first job in the industry after winning a competition (top prize a 16kb Spectrum!) with a game for the unexpanded 1kb ZX81 as a 16 year old. It's pretty amazing what you can fit on a floppy these days. The demoscene has created some awesome compression stuff. Should be worth a watch.
