Is the United States a NATO country? Yet they could not defend their most populated city, New York City. The loss to their major center for banking and financial services was infamously devastating.
None of us should have a false sense of security in any military power of this world.

@Earl@mast.john1126.com What you're referring to was a terrorist attack, and it's common knowledge how the U.S. responded to it. But that's a completely different issue. NATO is about military deterrence and making it clear to the enemy that it cannot win if it attacks a NATO member.
