Difference between Free Software and Open Source, subtle but definite: This article, in which a bunch of neofeudalist scumbags attempt to make a fascist government shore up their empires, with good chance of success, includes the line "open source is not open season on American IP". Now, replace Open Source with Free Software and say it out loud. Note how uncomfortable you feel. It's true that Free Software is not open season on American IP, yes, but that's because it IS an open assault on the concept of IP itself, and it certainly does not give a shit about IP hoarders in any nation. Whereas, Open Source cares very much about IP; in fact, maintaining control of IP is why Open Source exists at all. Fuck Open Source. #NeverSayFOSS
