My plan for today is to install a lamp in my office.
So it's obvious I'm checking USB cables with treedix cable checker.
But to install the lamp I need to remove a bunch of things from my desk as I need to move it. So it's a good moment to test and throw away cables that I have.
Until now I found one semi-good USB 3.2 cable with 65W PD...
In the end I might throw away/give away those USB-C cables and just replace them with something good where I won't have to think 'will this work'...

@afterdesign@infosec.exchange this is one of many things I have a label printer for. I check the cable capabilities and print a label. Old USB cables might not be best for charging it or data transfer from newer devices, but are still well suitable for things like programmes or microcontrollers!
