@alisynthesis@io.waxandleather.com @homeassistant@fosstodon.org good recommendation. I just bought and connected 2 Ikea indoor monitors to my #homeassistant setup. They run on matter (I'm using an existing matter border router).
In HA they work great, with all the data being tracked.

@dsc@mastodon.scot It would have been a little cheaper to go the IKEA route, and the result probably would have been the same. I decided to go the #FOSS route, assuming it would be a lot less convenient. But I was impressed! It was probably the easiest smart thing setup I've ever done. Either way, monitoring the air in your home is quickly becoming kinda necessary unfortunately. :( @homeassistant@fosstodon.org
