I think pointing live is really important! From Fairplayer we have the strategy to try to connect local people to local musicians.
Fairplayer is the technological arm of a wider movement that wants to organize both local musicians and listeners, to rethink their relation.

We have the technology to stream live video (with audio for those who just listen) performances, many are already doing it. Federating those events might bring a radical change to things.
