I just finished watching the very interesting iTV/britbox series McDonald & Dodds. But that's not what I want to talk about. It has a very photorealistic title sequence. It was created in the last decade, so the technology is current. Why is it so easy to know the imagery is computer generated and not based in the physical world? Granted this has impossible shots and some obvious animations. But even before that, I knew it was artificial. It could be simply uncanny valley, but maybe it was something else, like variations in shading? Or perhaps the lack of depth as we comprehend it? Or less randomness in stone and wood than in nature? I'd love to know more from those knowledgeable about such art forms. #iTV #BritBox #McDonaldAndDobbs #ComputerGeneratedImages

@AncTreat5358@lgbtqia.space I love Britbox, what else do you watch on there? For my it’s just my ‘Poirot and Miss Marple’ subscription.
