Learnt a lovely Dutch word: "natafelen". Literally "after-table-ing": sitting around chatting after your dinner, perhaps with a drink but maybe just sitting. A good phenomenon yet no word in English. #Dutch #words

@danstowell@mastodon.social I'm a native English speaker and I can assure you that we have a word for that, "natafelen"; I just stole it from the Dutch. Next time I'm traveling, I''ll correct your pronunciation.
