@miss_rodent@girlcock.club I always enjoy reading your posts and rambles. Thank you for sharing this about yourself. Your story is fascinating. I find a lot of it relatable. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 when I was about 13. My step-father decided I didn't need the meds. I never received any help until my mid-late 20's after meeting my partner. I understand what you mean by your brain being shattered and having to rebuild your identity. I've done this a few times, too.

    @TerminalTilt@social.terminaltilt.com Thanks <3 & yeah, I'm bipolar-schizoaffective; so, when I did eventually get to a therapist/psych (which was... around 18 years old - nothing for the first few years) I ended up diagnosed first as depression - then the antidepressants started a semester-long manic period, which was... A bit of a mess... then the psychosis-prone sort of bipolar around 20 yrs old, then finally bipolar schizoaffective during the several years of 'why don't any of these drugs work?' thereafter.
