Finally, a young Wood Thrush who was so focused on begging for food from its parents in the middle of the trail that Zeena and/or Tonttu would have caught it if I hadn't held them back!
It flew up to the brush at the side of the trail completely unconcerned about me getting video with my phone.

Note for any birders in the area, I'm quite certain I heard an Acadian Flycatcher on the east end of the lake, which is rare for this species & location. I couldn't stick around to document it properly, however, so if you're interested in chasing the bird, ping me for location details!
