@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org @larand@appdot.net Decades ago, you could survive in Phoenix without A/C because it still cooled off at night. We'd open up the windows, set up the exhaust fan out one window & the intake fan in another window across the house, & sleep in relative coolness (upper 70s). Close up in the morning, close all the curtains, & we'd manage the day decently with fans. House was cinderblock, well-insulated, had deep roof overhangs & porches & sunshade screens. Not possible anymore.
