Slowly moving things out of someone else's cloud. I requested a copy of my Apple Notes but the download doesn't include embedded pdfs or even the contents of tables, or urls in notes if they're "rich links." Worthless. I reverted to manually moving notes from the Notes app to the Files app on my phone and then moving them to my #linux computer, and batch converting the rtf's to markdown with pandoc and the heic's to png's with image magick.

@w@mountains.social Way to go! I have some work to do as well, with services being even more of a pain than static data. TBH there are days when I think erasing it all would the best way to go. Alas, I cannot be sure it's really, really gone, so I need to keep a verification copy against future abuse.
