I hate George Thorogood.... SO MUCH I do not even have an explanation for it, other than the obvious reasons, but the things, I forgive other white men for singing in a voice that sounds black. I do it sometimes, because certain phonemes, when sung in Rock'n'Roll, are done in a certain timbre. Like how all the British dudes sound American when they sing, at least until the 90s or thereabouts. But Thorogood, he takes it farther, to my ears. It might also be his fans, who are, to a man, awful. I don't mean people who like that song with the I'm A Man riff, everyone hears that riff for the first time and that's the song that goes like that in their head, and it's a hell of a fuckin riff.
