#BuzzBallz are unrecyclable, and claims to the contrary are #greenwashing say recycling experts
"The company behind the bright, pre-mixed cocktails that have taken Gen Z by storm said they were recyclable on its website, but experts say this is not true.
BuzzBallz cannot be recycled as the PET plastic ball cannot be separated from the aluminium lid, global environmental action body WRAP said."
I do think the need some sort of legislation to stop people launching consumer products in new types of packaging that can't be recycled by existing infrastructure, and will in fact mess up existing recycling systems with cross contamination.

@afewbugs@social.coop this is a shame. Aluminum is such a great thing to recycle they should have avoided the plastic altogether and just gone for a regular can shape.
