i noticed my DSi XL making a quiet static hissing sound when the volume was all the way down. i was afraid there was something wrong with it, but apparently that's just completely normal and the fix is to drown it out by turning up the volume i guess? this is an official nintendo support article about it

next time i make something that has some sort of problem, i'm gonna say "it is a normal feature and it is a function of the way it was designed"
