@surfhosting@mastodon.pirateparty.be It has drawbacks. One is that it lacks a log entry for file truncation (or something similar). In FFS, you can sometimes end up with extra data at the end of files that are being written during a crash. WAPBL makes this more common simply because it writes faster.
