@johnefrancis@cosocial.ca I got the story from the neighbours today. One of those big transformer boxes malfunctioned. Hydro opened it up & found many tree toots. Cut the roots. Tree fell down. Tree had to be cut up & removed. One neighbour was out of power 3 days. Neighbour beside me pointed out the scorch marks on his lawn by the road, from one of the long-idling trucks. I suggested that it should have happened to our lawn instead, as we would never have noticed. 😏
