The third in the series by #RoriThornton which continues the snuggling and sitting on each other's laps. It is actually quite comforting how affectionate they are to each other, and supportive, especially as the "Star" here struggles recovering from a very toxic relationship.
The different cultures and how they perceive deities - even the same deity - is interesting. Reincarnation, mundane miracles, and making each other blush.

The fourth and final of the series by #RoriThornton that had me genuinely smiling at the end. The world Rori created is so full of warmth and acceptance and love. The dichotomy of the countries of Rabahn and Vauge highlights how restrictive patriarchy and even monotheism can be. Rori doesn't shy away from truly dark, toxic relationship dynamics, but instead makes them seem smaller and overcome-able when surrounded by this supportive extended family.
