Everytime I feel a bit down, I read about good folks doing good things surrounded by good people helping them. Loving v Virginia is a thing like that. A couple where the husband was white, the wife First Nation and black, fought against the laws in their home state Virginia against interracial marriage and won. Mildred Loving, being an absolute queen also issued a statement in support of samesex marriage in the US before passing onward in 2008.
