If you think telling people "you're doing it wrong" is a solution, we could just have said that and no redesign would have been necessary, right? The new design of the caps has major flaws, something the corresponding design change for aluminium cans didn't have. That design just works, and no one thinks about it, and we don't have aluminium tabs lying around anymore.
