Hey @crispius, there's a term on the tip of my tongue that's just not coming to me, and I bet you know what I'm thinking of. IIRC, you take an old PC or something, you set it up in a certain way, and you put it between your home WiFi and your ISP connection. Increase privacy, strip out ads, that kind of stuff. Or maybe it's done with a Raspberry Pi? What am I thinking of?
