@ascentale@sfba.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social Today I took this and other pics of the intersection in our Gold Level Bike Friendly town that's *right by the city offices* and the saturday farmer's market and... and... ... and the light does not detect bicycles. I was told some years ago: "press the walk button1!!" Yea, hop the curb, dodge right turning traffic, find the ramp.... Tuesday a.m. I invoked the "dead red" law and squeezed across between cars. GRANTED it's busy enough usually there are cars that trigger the light. At that night's Bike/Pedestrian Advisory Commission meeting we were told that intersection is beig totally re-designed... goal for construction in 2029. I spoke of my issues and was told to send info b/c it's a different person responding. (This is also a "so dangerous it's safer!" intersection because nobody knows what they are supposed to do.)
