God give me a moment's grace.
85% of my family lives in the towns that were flooded in West Virginia on Wednesday. While all are safe, many of my family & friends lost their homes and businesses.
This is not a wealthy area. These are hard working people. And no one hears about the devastation or cares because it's #WestVirginia
My Dad is buried under those flood waters and we still do not know the condition of the #cemetery. He wouldn't care about himself. As a first responder, he would tell us to stop worrying about him and help as many others as we can. So that is what I am doing.

A screen grab from a helicopter surveying the area. That patch of green grass is where my Dad is buried. The #cemetery came through ok from the over 2 feet of #flooding. His marker sunk a bit but still there. It will need repaired but easy to do. What a strange thing to worry about but if you have ever sat at your parent's #grave and talked to them, then you understand.
