@ghost_shit@aus.social ok… Brace yourself. I’m the wrong person to talk about Paul’s Boutique. I know everybody loves it… but I was never really a fan. That album is waaaaaaay to sample heavy for my liking. So heavy in fact, that nobody could make that record now. Most of the samples would be UNCLEAR-able and very expensive. I find Check and I’ll to be far more organic experiences, and way more successful musically. It’s a ridiculously unpopular opinion, but one I’ve held for years.
