Like many of you I currently have accounts on #mastodon AND #bluesky.
I much much prefer the experience and the ecosystem here on mastodon, but many of the authors, intellectuals, sources, artists etc I want to follow are on bluesky.
Also. When I share a post on bluesky I get quantity of views whilst shared on mastodon I get quality of views (ie thoughtful engagement).
This leads to the irrational but real FOMO. Fear of mastodon obscurity.

@shojiwax@mastodon.online I stopped using Bluesky, they have algorithmic feed, they also by design encourage showing off and building celebrities and influencers. Which is something I avoid since my FOSS journey began.
