The SCA’s big event starts this weekend. I was a fixture there back in the day. Glad I’m not going anymore. I got tired of the politics and other BS.

@fuzzface@epsilon-ix.masto.host yeah. trucking around in garb or 60lb/28kg of metal, pounding each other with sticks, enduring Jul/Aug heat/humidity, all to wind up being stuck with pittsburgh the following year. :) went to PENNSIC for about 5 years.
