All stopped cogwheels and pastel colours. Looks like the floor manager really had to corral folk into watching this performance, though if the alternative is gazing into the spectacles of Sir Simon Bates...

Sir Simon Bates, the lost voice of The Speaking Clock. "Videotheque" - Dollar Weird: the opening moments are a repeat from three weeks ago, before fading into tonight's film. Was that the backup tape kicking in? Frankly, should have stuck with it. This performance does the song no favours: Therese dances around in a hat, David looks slightly shifty, they have less chemistry than Bunsen and Beaker, so it's basically Dollar by numbers. #TOTP #Dollar
