Why were the Proms playing a Christmas song? Or is "Wonderwall" merely a song that happened to be big around Christmas, like "Don't you want me".

To have one monster hit makes a career worth following. To have three - this, and "Dreams", and "Give me a little more time" - shows Gabrielle's a top-drawer talent. Shame she seems to have fallen into obscurity.

"Ooh stick you!" - Daphne and Celeste Bubblegum pop punks always had the shortest careers - this lot, and Shampoo, and (at a stretch) Bow Wow Wow. The problem being, this was "irritating" on first listening, and after a month degenerated to "like nails going down a blackboard". But not the worst thing on the show tonight. #TOTP #DaphneAndCeleste
