I would have a lot of meltdowns when I was younger, often crying, yelling, screaming. Eventually I internalized that those behaviours weren't appropriate, and I went so long without screaming that I forgot how to do it.
Not only do I want to re-learn for catharsis reasons, I also want to learn how to scream safely without damaging my voice for music reasons.

@maddy@thegayagenda.fans I feel for you. I could escape so I didn't forget those habits, for better or worse. In general I think it's useful to take singing lessons to learn to hold your voice/raise its endurance. But from what I heard - no coffee, tea, dairy, anything that affects hydration of your body really is off the table
