doctorow ignoring all of the well-researched problems around bias and AI-washing unethical decisions so he can carve out ethical exclusions for his own privileged use of local models by describing a fantasy version of an LLM that can’t realistically exist is uhh
well, that’s a doctorow. same guy who treats socialism like a country club I’m not invited to because I’m not a legacy

@zzt@mas.to I unfollowed him when he started straight up scolding people who point out (rightly) that his promotion and use of LLMs is deeply hypocritical and unethical.
