Someday, something needs to change not just with icann but with the global order in how domain names are recycled: https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/epp-status-codes-2014-06-16-en#pendingDelete I am being pure and just direct: This is a bad way to manage anything, much less domain names. The fact that Ionos/1and1 can hold an expired domain name for a ransom tells us that men invented the Internet. This is stupid and I don't know how else to put that. I have to completely wait out Ionos because they are being assholes over icann's pending deletes. It's a money-making venture for them. Nothing less and nothing more.
