@Sarah111well@mas.to that’s so annoying :( I’m totally willing to pay people very fairly for their skills and energy, but having to be alert for scams at all times poisons the relationships with tradies.

@venite@wandering.shop A short cut taken without telling me, and leaving me with a suspected, unidentified problem and an electric shower not protected by an RCD. As a single woman I'm always wary of tradesmen, because they can see you as an easy target. But I ran out of patience years ago and decided that rather than pay someone to do a job badly, if I could do it myself, I would. 😁
