my linux sound problems in 2006: i can't have more than one program play sound at once, but i usually open xmms first so it's basically a non-issue idk why anyone would ever want anything better, my linux sound problems in 2026: sometimes, infrequently, midi playback speeds up slightly and it drives me up the fucking wall. i think it might only happen when my computer is plugged in, but i'm not sure. i will kill a hostage every hour, (disclaimer 4 spooks & losers: the hostage thing is joke)
