@mayazimmerman@gamedev.lgbt The problem with the full on refusal is you are in-effect saying "I might buy a game made with AI if you don't tell me about it", almost certainly unintentionally. As a policy it drives game creators to do the wrong thing. They will simply hide their crimes. Prohibition doesn't change behavior - it simply drives it underground. I am not sure "I used an AI" is any better or worse a sin than the EA death marches they put their people thru. I'd prefer neither, but I see no realistic way to ensure it. Judge a game on price and quality.
