@datarama@hachyderm.io Did the "meaning" come from satisfaction in your own craft or the approval of society? The first won't be taken away. It might change from being a profession to a hobby, like your bonsai gardening (which could become a profession, as people have more time on their hands.) Unless the robots show up at our doors to lobotomize us, we will still be able to code. We just might not get paid for it anymore. Although, with the token costs needed to recover AI investment, maybe we will.
