100% somewhere in the arm (like assuming this isn’t in some test lab where “the ear” can be consistently guaranteed).
Foot would likely be serious, lifelong pain when walking.
Leg is extremely dangerous for bleeding out. Like maybe if I could get immediate medical attention it wouldn’t be terrible, but there are still better options. (Plus avoids an accidental shot to the knee.) (Edit: Forgot to mention chronic pain in the calf when walking.)
Abdomen is obviously not a first choice.
Head and neck are obviously going to be the worst, and I even mean that in the sense that a shot to the head isn’t inherently some insta-kill. Lots of ways to hit the brain that completely debilitate you for life.
Hands seem like a great way to fuck up the nerves and have dexterity trouble for the rest of your life.
So arm it is, preferably right because it’s further from the heart.

If it hits the brachial artery in your arm, you’re not going to have a good time either.

i think i would choose the calf. its similar to the arm in terms of potential bleeding out, but it doesnt effect your ability to work lots of jobs or use your hands. the really big arteries in your legs that risk bleeding out are for supplying your thigh muscles so they dont go all the way down to your calves. best case its a flesh wound and you recover fully. worst case you lose your foot and lower leg. theres always the risk of losing anything that gets shot, whether from damage or infection, and id rather lose part of a leg than anything else.
