The empress was buried beneath the Sanmai-dō (三昧堂) of Hōkongō-in. This site is now the 'Hanazono-no-Nishi-no-Misasagi' mausoleum (花園西陵), north of the current temple on Mt. Goi (五位山).
Taikenmon'in was the mother of emperors Sutoku (崇徳天皇) and Go-Shirakawa (後白河天皇).

🧗♂️THE BLUE WOMAN WATERFALL💦 Now dry save the wettest weather, Hōkongō-in's (法金剛院) 'Seijo-no-Taki' (青女の滝 'Blue Woman Falls') is the oldest manmade waterfall in Japan for which we know the names of both patron and builder. #Hokongoin #Kyoto #法金剛院 #青女の滝 #Japan
