Cellular machinery moves *really fast*. When you see animations they're slowed down many orders of magnitude.
And the following ratios are mostly similarish (within a few orders of magnitude):
Atoms in a cell
Cells in a human body
Stars in the galaxy
Galaxies in the observable universe.
It's really hard - maybe impossible - to fully comprehend that kind of scale. Our brains aren't built for it. We have to resort to symbols to represent orders of magnitude.
