So the US is warning that Iranian state actors are "hacking' US power and water infrastructure and causing disturbances. They say this like it's unfair, that it somehow crosses a line. The US has been loudly, proudly bombing civilian infrastructure like power and water for some time, with constant threats of ramping it up further. Seems like a case of the chickens coming home to roost rather than an unthinkable escalation. #USPol #war #IranWar #hacking #DipshitDonnie #MangoMussolini #NoFair #infrastructure

@cazabon@mindly.social There's surely entire books to be written (or already written) about the doublethinkful weight given to the phrase asymmetric warfare because it's at the heart of U.S. and "Western" policy, especially Israeli policy, and its assertion that "terrorists" (fitting certain racial profiles that is) are uniquely inhuman, supercriminals. Obviously the fascıstic exaltation of superhero fiction into a linch-pin of U.S. entertainment has a lot to do with that. Frank Miller had Batman fighting "terrorists".
