@cazabon@mindly.social There's surely entire books to be written (or already written) about the doublethinkful weight given to the phrase asymmetric warfare because it's at the heart of U.S. and "Western" policy, especially Israeli policy, and its assertion that "terrorists" (fitting certain racial profiles that is) are uniquely inhuman, supercriminals. Obviously the fascıstic exaltation of superhero fiction into a linch-pin of U.S. entertainment has a lot to do with that. Frank Miller had Batman fighting "terrorists".
