@dtm@mastodon.cc Back in the day, I had walking distance access to the NuArt Theater in West LA. Wonderful theater where I saw some great stuff. Santa Monica Blvd. had three independent theaters back then < 1 mile from me. No idea if any of them are still there or indie, but it was a magical time to escape the mass market slop of the era.
