There was no discussion about “hey we are thinking about doing this thing” it was just presented as a fait accompli and your choice was to install The App or leave.

So much is tied to employment, and so many people live paycheck to paycheck. The sooner people start standing up to the c-suite, and unionizing the sooner things will improve. "The system works for them."
