So much is tied to employment, and so many people live paycheck to paycheck. The sooner people start standing up to the c-suite, and unionizing the sooner things will improve.

(if it weren't for that I'd be retired right now) other countries: why don't USians have a general strike? USians: well if I got fired, my entire family would lose their medical insurance, and one illness or broken bone would then bankrupt us.
