So much is tied to employment, and so many people live paycheck to paycheck. The sooner people start standing up to the c-suite, and unionizing the sooner things will improve. "The system works for them."

    @miah@hachyderm.io @jonshell@mastodon.energy @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org the whole medical insurance being tired to employment is the one that really gets me. (if it weren't for that I'd be retired right now) other countries: why don't USians have a general strike? USians: well if I got fired, my entire family would lose their medical insurance, and one illness or broken bone would then bankrupt us.
