Contrary to the spin of this article, the demise of the #elonmusk empire is not imminent nor even likely. Yeah, SpaceX had an issue, and Tesla's sales are down a bit, but take a look at the facts. Despite anti-Tesla sentiment last year and poor sales, Elon negotiated a record compensation package. NASA is still using SpaceX rockets for payloads. StarLink is still going and pervasive in future US governmental ventures. Brain implantations are still happening. The thing to remember here is that the financial metrics are meaningless if the dopes (investors, press, ignorant rubes, fanboys) believing Elon don't see the pasty bastard for what he is. To use a fishing analog, Elon has the hook set deep, and many will not be able to disengage from the bait. Elon can do, and has been doing some things wrong to the point of illegality in the same of progress. I hope I'm wrong.
