mastodon hasn't been translating posts or showing me the "translate post" link in a while - is there a new setting that i just cannot find?

@bobmagicii@phpc.social It's still there, as far as I can see, but the official clients require the poster to specify a different language than one you've marked as speaking in your profile settings. In my experience, on phpc.social in particular, many default to English then post in [other language]. Alas. That's one reason why I really like the Phanpy client; it always has 'Translate' as a menu option.
