like don't get me wrong, it's overall a good thing that we've been aggressively focusing on making computers easier to use for the last 40 years The learning curve used to be really steep, it was a problem. but we've also really flattened how much extra functionality you get out of learning more about how computers work. Even things as simple as "you can tab between UI elements and not have to take your hands off the mouse" is far less useful computer knowledge, since it barely works now

@foone@digipres.club the slack UI is AWFUL tab? selects the highlighted rage face pressing down arrow? highlights the SAME as the light grey so, to get to the next emoji down, you have to hit down arrow twice.
